Customer Information

What exactly you are buying, what it costs, and when it can be refunded · Version: July 2026
This page summarises, in plain language, the pre-contractual information we are required to give you before you confirm your order — required, in particular, before you consent to immediate performance of the service and the resulting loss of your right of withdrawal. For the full legal text, see our Terms & Conditions and Refund & Withdrawal Policy.

1. Who you are buying from

Vignette Switzerland is operated by Netgo sp. z o.o. (Katowice, Poland). We are an independent intermediary, not a reseller — we are not affiliated with the Swiss government. The digital vignette itself is issued directly by the Swiss Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (BAZG/FOCBS) through its official system, via.admin.ch. Based on the power of attorney you grant us at checkout, we submit your registration to BAZG on your behalf, verify your data beforehand, and forward BAZG's confirmation to you by e-mail.

2. What product you are buying

The Swiss e-vignette is issued only as one product: an annual digital vignette, for cars, motorbikes, and trailers/caravans up to 3.5 tonnes. Its validity is tied to the calendar, not to a flat term: it starts on the date you pay (or the start date you select) and always ends on 31 January of the year after next — the same fixed end date for every vignette, no matter when you buy it. In practice, this means your actual validity period is never longer than 14 months (only if you buy right on 1 December) and gets shorter the later in that window you buy — it is not a flat 14-month term counted from your purchase date. There is no daily, weekly, or monthly Swiss vignette.

3. What you pay — price breakdown

4. When you can get a refund — and when you can't

SituationRefundable?
You cancel before your vignette registration has been submitted to BAZGYes — Processing Fee, within 14 days
Registration submitted, but vignette validity has not started yetPossibly — Government Fee only under BAZG's own rules, on request
Vignette registered and its validity period has startedNo — neither the Government Fee nor the Processing Fee
Technical error or duplicate purchase caused by usYes — we cooperate fully to resolve it

Full details, including how to request a cancellation, are in our Refund & Withdrawal Policy.

5. Immediate performance — what you are agreeing to

Most customers want their vignette registered as soon as possible. By ticking the consent checkboxes and completing payment, you are explicitly asking us to begin registering your vignette with BAZG immediately, before the standard 14-day withdrawal period would otherwise expire — and you acknowledge that, once that registration is complete, you lose the right to withdraw from it. This is a standard, legally required trade-off for any digital service delivered instantly, and it is why the Swiss e-vignette has no general cooling-off period once it is active.
